My name is Almu López and I was born in Jaén in 1992 ...

My interest in drawing woke up when I was still very young, because I liked to create characters, imagine their stories and then put them on paper. Back then I spent many hours of my life taking care of my aunt, who liked to draw as a hobby. I was fascinated to observe how she did it and to try to draw like her, I would spend long hours looking at her drawing pads without realizing that it would become the trigger for me in the future to want to dedicate my life to the world of illustration.

In 2013 I did my entrance exams to the illustration degree at the José Nogué art school in Jaén and I was accepted. There I spent two incredible years where I learned to work, to make an effort and to get excited about every new thing they taught me. To discover that my passion, which I used to practice as a hobby, could also become my profession.

Over time I have discovered that I love working in the publishing sector, as a children's book illustrator, where I can unleash my imagination without limits.
